Mike Komljenovic

Learning later in life about his love and enjoyment of the water, Mike has become a water sports enthusiast who is enjoying his recreational pursuit and progression of learning surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Mike is a high school physics teacher with the Halton District School Board at Abbey Park High School, and when time permits, he enjoys sharing the joy of water sports with his sons, and anyone else willing to travel, to search for wind and waves around the Great Lakes.

Darryl Austin

Founded by Darryl Austin, Ausmosis Boardcraft became the first and only Canadian designed & Canadian made surfboard and SUP brand. Being the son of a master merchant mariner Darryl learned to respect the water from a very young age. With that respect bossed his appetite to becoming a well rounded waterman. His family and him spent a alot of time in the ocean and lakes allowing him to perfect windsurfering in the 80’s surfing and skim boarding in the 90’s and SUP in the 2000.’s. D-Mans passion has lead him to competing in any SUP surf EVENTs and paddle board races that he can find. It is a life path he will never give up. What brings the most joy to Darryl is watching his sons follow in the same passion he grew up with.

Thomas Millar

Master shaper for Ausmosis Boards. Tom Millar shapes performance surf and SUP designs for both fresh water and for salt water. Ausmosis boards are the only Canadian designed and manufactured SUP and Surfboard brand. With surfing the lakes in mind Ausmosis has a multi level shaping, glassing and designing warehouse where they build their board shapes as well as custom boards for the pro level surfers. The goal is to give the lake surfers and paddlers a professional quality option in the country.
