Great Lakes Strings 2020

March 20-22nd, 2020, Purdue University.

Unfortunately, due to the global outbreak of COVID-19 all events at Purdue University must be canceled (see below). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope to organize the Great Lakes in the fall or maybe next year.

"We are suspending all university-sponsored events (including those hosted by registered student organizations) involving external visitors effective March 16 through May 2. For purposes of this suspension, gatherings of 50 or more attendees should be postponed or canceled." Mitch Daniels -President of Purdue.

The Physics Department of Purdue University is hosting the Great Lakes Strings Conference in 2020. The program will start on Friday March 20th in the afternoon and end on Sunday March 22nd in the early afternoon. The conference facilitates scientific communication and collaboration among researchers in the mid-western regions. We strongly encourage an active participation from students and postdoctoral researchers.
