Background

Now in its final year, the spatial data products that will be shared in this workshop were informed by two years of input from managers and other stakeholders, including a needs assessment, a workshop that took place in April of 2016 in Rock Springs, WY, and a series of technical webinars and work group calls. In this workshop, we will present vulnerability assessments for important ecosystems of the Green River Basin, discuss the analysis done to create these decision support tools, demonstrate how they can be used to answer key management questions, and, through group discussions, identify conservation opportunity areas based on vulnerability maps and existing priorities.

The Green River Basin LCD analysis area extends across about 48,000 square miles and spans portions of Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming.
