My mission is to provide an affectionate, home environment for the children entrusted to my care. This loving atmosphere will include experiencing God's love through songs, interactions and activities.
First and foremost, I believe children need love and affection, babies need held frequently. My daycare will remain small and personal, allowing each child plenty of one-on-one time and care. Each child will feel valued.
Next, I believe that the human brain needs stimulation in order to develop to its full potential. Children learn in many ways and I love to take advantage of every possible teachable moment—by playing and exploring in a fun, safe and healthy environment. Children will be read to, encouraged to share their ideas and given abundant opportunities to develop intellectually.
Finally, physical development includes many things. Physical activity enhances confidence as skills are developed. Children will be engaged in diverse activities to aid them in developing small and large motor skills.
Furthermore, they will be encouraged in areas of healthy eating, resting and bathroom habits as a foundation for good health.
