Germán Pupato

Welcome!

I'm an Associate Professor and the Graduate Program Director of the Department of Economics at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Most of my research is in the field of international trade, though I'm also interested in labour economics and economic geography. My work focuses on the causes and consequences of economic integration, including the relationship between a country's skill distribution and its pattern of comparative advantage, the impact of international trade on wage inequality, and the role of transportation and frictional labour markets in the propagation of trade shocks.
