Electrical Engineering Department strives to achieve excellence in imparting quality and skill based technological knowledge for shaping the students who will ultimately serve the needs of Industry and Society and contribute to the global economy professionally and ethically.

Mission

1. To provide excellent quality education to the students whilst promoting professional values.

2. To build strong technological knowledge and skill based foundation in students by inculcating quality of lifelong learning that will enable their smoother career advancement in the Industry.

3. To make them aware about their responsibilities towards the global economy, society and the environment by imparting positive ethical and economic values in them.

History

Started with 30 seats in 1983 Date of 1st approval by AICTE with Reference F.No. P-2/B-3/(R BB)/7526 15th Feb.1984

Intake increased to 45 in 1989

Intake increased to 75 in 1990

Increased to 120 in 1999

Intake increased to 180 in 2009( 60 seats in second shift)

Current total intake is 180.
