Club Meetings

The Gorge Photography Club meets twice a month, September - May excepting December. A banquet is held in December which includes a program and often, a display of members' prints. Another banquet is held at the end of the year, in June, where awards are presented to deserving members.

The bi-monthly meeting locations alternate between The Dalles and Hood River. The first meeting of the month is in The Dalles. The second is in Hood River. Please sign up for the newsletter to get current locations and dates for the next meeting.

We meet a half hour early for visiting and preparation. A short discussion of business is followed by a program of special interest to photographers. Critiques and/or judging of digital images and prints are scheduled for some meeting dates. Images include those with a groups of traditional, monochrome and altered reality each month.

Outside Speakers

Each year we schedule several regional professionals to present programs for our club. 

Members Shows

All members are given the opportunity to present a program of their images at a club meeting. They are usually 5 minutes, though longer shows are accommodated when the show is the main program.
