Angels are wonderful messengers of God, They carry-on the assignments of god with gratitude to god. The word “angel” actually comes from the Greek word aggelos, which means “messenger.” The matching Hebrew word mal'ak has the same meaning. Angels are purely spiritual beings that do God's will (Psalms 103:20, Matthew 26:53).
Angels are mentioned at least 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament. Angels are categorized as Good (obedient to God and carry out His will) and Bad (fallen angels who has disobeyed, fell from their holy position, and they now stand in opposition to the work and plan of God). And there are some special categories such as cherubim, seraphim's, and the archangel.
