Basic info - english

Researcher in Physics. PhD in Physics by UDELAR Universidad de la República, M.Sc. (Nuclear Physics) from the Universidad Federal de Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a B.A. (Physics) from Univ. de California at Berkeley. Partially retired since 2021. He has been director of the Physics Institute (Engineering College at UDELAR) and the Physics Dept. at CENUR UDELAR-SALTO. He was a founder and director of the Solar Energy Laboratory at UDELAR. He is honorary associate researcher at PEDECIBA-Física and Researcher (Level II) of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores .

• • Estimation of the solar irradiation at the earth's surface (current).

  • Olive grove cultivation and oil production.

  • Quantum information processing (past).

  • Classical and quantum propagation in networks (past).

  • Quantum chaos (past).
