There are many different brands and types of medication available to treat various illnesses seen in goldfish. Below is a list of some of the different types and the diseases they treat.

Aquatronics^TM

Furacyn

General antibiotic for treatment and prevention of ammonia burns, body and fin rot, red blood streaks, open ulcers, gill disease, Columnaris.

Kanacyn

Wide Range antibiotic that is easily absorbed thru the skin. It treats hemorrhaging, red body patches, fin and tail rot, scale loss, dropsy, body ulcers, inflamed gills, tuberculosis, and general bacterial

Nitrofura-G

This is good for hemorrhaging and red streaks, fin and tail deterioration, open sores, as well as general bacterial infections and gill diseases.

Tetracycline

To help prevent and cure common bacterial diseases such as: gill disease, cotton mouth, and bacterial fin and tail rot.

Spectrogram- Wide spectrum antibiotic that works on advanced hemorrhaging, inflamed gills, dropsy, Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as body slime and etc.

Penicillin

General Anti-bacterial and anti-fungal medication that cure and prevent cloudy or protruding eyes, cottony growths, fin and tail rot, mouth and eye sores, and many other general infections.

Ick Guard

This is a good medication for curing Ick. (avail in 8 oz liquid 1 tsp/10 gallons or Crystal 20 oz 1 tsp/5gallons)

Quickly clears ick on pond fish. Most outbreaks are eliminated within 24 hours.

Ick Guard II

This is formulated to work on small or weak fish. (1 teaspoon treats 10 gallons) 8 fl. ounces

Internal Parasite Guard

This is for thin, weak, and listless fish who have been dying for no apparent reason. (1 tsp per 5 gallons) 20 oz.

Parasite Guard

This is good for treating creatures who suck the fish's blood or eat their flesh.

Parasite Clear

Clears internal and external parasites such as lice, anchor worms, etc. (1 tablet treats 10 gallons) 8pk or 100 pk

Pepso Food

Formulated to remove internal parasites- May be fed once weekly. 1 oz.

Works on most common fungus's found in goldfish.
