Next Rehearsal:

Saturday Sept., 13th: 

3pm - 6pm - Full Cast (Welcome & Music Rehearsal)

Cast Expectations 

• Check the call board. This will have a breakdown of our rehearsal schedule as well as rehearsal videos. 

• More than 2 unexcused absences and your understudy will go on for one of the performances. 2 unexcused lateness’s count as an unexcused absence 

• Understudies are expected to be at rehearsals for the characters they are covering. It is the Understudy’s responsibility to learn their part.

• Make sure to sign in for every rehearsal.

• Communication is key. Emergencies happen. If you are going to be late or absent please let us know by emailing (laura@oceancitytheatrecompany.com). You can always come to the production team or your movement captains with relevant questions.

• Treat your fellow castmates, the production team, and the space with kindness and respect.

• No phones in the studio space unless you are using it to record a voice part during music rehearsal. Leave them in your bag while we are working.

• Keep outside noise to a minimum during work sessions. You may bring quiet activities or homework if you are called for rehearsal but not being used at the moment.

• Because we have such a big cast, please only come to rehearsals you are called to/are understudying to limit distractions. 

• Videos on the callboard are for rehearsal purposes only. Please do not share them elsewhere. 

• DO NOT COME TO REHEARSAL IF YOU ARE SICK. Don’t be hero.
