Head Swim Coach Grayson Gajewski

Hi! My name is Grayson Gajewski. I am a lifeguard at Glen Aqua pool and I am looking forward to being head coach for the 2024 swim season! I swam for 12 years; starting at Lake Forest for 3 years  and then swimming for Glen Aqua for 9 years. I am looking forward to a fun, competitive, awesome swim season!  

Assistant Swim Coach Haley Ripple

Hello! My name is Haley Ripple (formerly Gajewski). I worked as a lead lifeguard at Glen Aqua pool for 4 years. I have been involved in swimming for a total of 13 years: 5 years at Lake Forest and 8 years at Glen Aqua. I am excited about the opportunity to be the assistant coach of the swim team, especially because my little brother will be the head coach! I am committed to creating a fun, energetic, and competitive atmosphere for everyone. 

Glen Aqua Practice Information and Guidelines for 2024

Start Dates:    Swim Team – May 28th         End Date: Swim Team – July 26th

Practice Times:

Swim Team (Ages 10 & Under) M-F 9:00-9:45 AM

Swim Team (Ages 11 & Over) M-F 9:45-11:00 AM

*No one will be allowed to practice if they have not turned in the FWSSDL Waiver.

*Swim Team - Coach Grayson will determine if a practice time needs changed. 

*No one is to attend practice if they have any fever, cough, or other symptoms of illness.

*All team members will enter from the far side gate as in previous years.

*Make sure to bring your caps and goggles, as teammates will not be allowed to share them. We will have a few pairs available if someone forgets.

*Everyone should bring their own water bottle. Be sure to have your swimmer’s/diver’s name on the water bottle.

*If a team member has his/her own equipment (kick boards, buoys, etc.), please bring them to practice. Glen Aqua pool equipment will be passed out by the coach to those who do not have equipment.

*If parents and any additional siblings are staying for practices, we ask they stay on the upper deck and away from the main pool and dive well.

*At least one parent from the Teams Committee will be present at each practice to help answer any questions team members or parents might have. Note, this is subject to change throughout the season.
