The Society was form in 1980 by Mac Bell and Claude Wilkinson who both worked at GKN Technology in Wolverhampton.  We continue to meet twice a year, holding a spring event in May and an Autumn event in September at various Golf Clubs around the Midlands.

The Society currently has membership of 20 players, who are either GKN employees, ex GKN employees or invited friends.  Membership is free and then pay for events when they are arranged.
