We are looking for highly motivated people to join us. Research possibilities include:
1. Investigation of neural basis of auditory perception in mice. We have exciting projects that combine behavioral, optogenetic, and neurophysiological experiments to link neural circuits to perception and behavior.
2. Animal model experiments that interfaces traditional neuroscience approaches with high resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques. It is a unique opportunity to work at the junction of the two fields, which could lead to exciting new findings.
We are looking for applicants at all levels (Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree holders). Prior research experience in neuroscience is a plus, but not necessary. We welcome individuals who are considering pursuing a PhD in neuroscience, but want to gain some experience before committing to graduate school. If you have strong curiosity in pursuing neuroscience career, please feel free to contact Gunsoo Kim (kgunsoo@kbri.re.kr).
