Givendale Scout Campsite is located on the edge of the Yorkshire wolds near to Great Givendale just north of Pocklington in East Yorkshire.
The site is a Green field site comprising of 4 large Patrol camping areas, Camp fire circle, main building complete with Fresh water and a wood burning stove. Each of the camping areas has an Altar fire which can be used for cooking.
Givendale campsite has composting toilets and washing facilities (cold water only)
ACCESS TO SITE
We encourage site users to park at St Ethelburga's Church, Great Givendale YO42 1TT and walk down to site.
It is feasible to drive down but access is rough farm track and can be muddy/slippery in winter so limit vehicles to those transporting kit to site.
From the Church follow the public footpath signs down the track, ignore the 2 tracks that go off to the left and you will reach a gate into a field, from there you will see Givendale Scout Hut.
Approximately 1Km from road 10-15 min walk.
