PhD vacancy available in my group to work on the design of a new smart dressing for advanced chronic wound management. Recent BBSRC award looking at the microbial conversion of coffee waste into bio-based polyester fibres for sustainable textile manufacture and circularity. The project will involve multidisciplinary collaborations with experts in microbiology (Dr Thuy Do) and polymer chemistry (Dr Paul Thornton). (Nov. 2022)
