I am an applied microeconomist, specialized in the impact evaluation of rural development projects. I obtained a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2017, and an MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in 2009.
I currently work as a Researcher at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI-CGIAR), based in Accra, Ghana. Before joining IWMI, I worked as an ET consultant for Poverty & Equity Global Practice at the World Bank in Angola and as an Impact Evaluation Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank.
Previously, I was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard University, involved in projects implemented by Precision Agriculture for Development in Kenya.
I have also been involved in projects and impact evaluations implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the African Development Bank (AfDB), and the Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) .
