Graces

This one can be tough. Girl Scouts was founded on Christian principles, but today we have so many girls of so many different faiths that singing grace before meals (which is traditional) can be difficult. However, it's important to remember that unless your girls are atheist, they probably believe in some version of God and can think of the grace from that context. Also, I don't have many right now, but I will try to add some more graces that are more neutral as far as just being thankful for the food. 

Whether you sing graces that include God or not I still think that it is extremely valid to be thankful for what you have. There are so many people out there who don't get to eat regularly that to take even one meal for granted is too much.
