After my schooling in Gwalior, I earned a Bachelors degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) under the guidance of Dr. Rangan Banerjee focusing on electric power plant portfolio optimization, and then a Masters degree from the Texas A & M University (TAMU), College Station, Texas under the guidance of Dr. Jerald A. Caton focusing on combustion emissions and energy systems.
I worked for Dr. Peter M. Boerger at the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) primarily on integrated resource planning (IRP) in Indianapolis, Indiana, then for Kristi J. Hobbs on market rules, protocols and guides at the Electric Reliability Council Of Texas (ERCOT) in Austin, Texas, and then for the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) as an electric transmission tariff expert in Calgary, Alberta, CANADA. I am now working for FortisAlberta - a electricity distribution company for the southern half of Alberta.
