I am Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy; I am also Research Fellow at IZA and affiliated at CRENoS. I received my PhD from the University of Essex, United Kingdom.
My research interests are in labour economics: I work on the effects of employment protection and unions; search models, monopsony and gender differentials; I also wrote on migration and education issues.
I was visiting scholar at the University of Edinburgh, Georgetown University, the University of Hawaii, the University of New South Wales, Sydney and the University of California, Berkeley.
