Giordano Palloni is an economist at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) where he works on research related to mortgages, rental housing, and deposit accounts. Previously, he was a non-Resident Fellow, a Research Fellow, and an Associate Research Fellow in the Poverty, Health and Nutrition Division of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).
Giordano taught Economic Development in the M.S. in Applied Economics program at the University of Maryland between 2020-2021.
He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland in 2015, with fields in Labor and Development Economics.
