General Information

The Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) Workshop Series is designed to bring together the integer programming research community in an annual meeting and pays particular attention to junior researchers.

  • Workshop

    • The workshop program is composed of a limited number (20-25) of invited talks on recent and unpublished work on MIP.

    • The talks are organized in a single track and scheduled to leave ample time for discussion and interaction among the participants.

    • The workshop series is committed to keep the cost of attending low to encourage participation of students and junior researchers.

    • The workshop features an open problems session and a poster session.

    • Workshops are held annually in North America.

  • Organization

    • The organizing committee consists of five members, most of whom are junior researchers. The organizing committee has one member from outside North America.

    • All but one member of the organizing committee changes each year. The new committee is selected by the outgoing organizing committee. One member serves two consecutive years for the purpose of maintaining continuity.

    • The organizing committee may seek the help of a local organizing committee as appropriate.
