Alumni

Dr. Byungmin Kang (Postdoc at KIAS, 2018-2022):  He was a postdoc at Prof. Kwon Park's group at KIAS but we have closely collaborated for several years while he was at KIAS.  The collaborations with him were important in our group's early research, which has been mainly centered around the many-body invariants of topological insulators. He is very friendly and approachable. I have very much enjoyed working with him. He is now at MIT.

Dr. Sangjin Lee (Postdoc, 2019 - 2023):  He was a postdoc in my group for roughly 3.5 years (hired through APCTP and IBS CALDES) and has theoretically studied possible experimental schemes for detecting topological states. He has a personable character, easy to collborate with, and also is very diligent, strong. I appreciate him very much for his help in stabilizing our group at the very early days. He is now at KIST.

Mr. Jongjun Lee (Graduate Student, 2019 - 2021): He was a graudate student in my group and studied the low-energy phenomena of two-dimensional correlated CDW states (which we called "conducting network materials"), which I liked a lot. He has published two PRLs during the relatively short period of his time in my group. He was a diligent, polite student. He is now in Prof. Hyun-Woo Lee's group at POSTECH, studying the spintronics.
