Your Practice Swords in a Wee Bag
Tired of lugging your swords to and from lessons?
Couldn't bring your basket-hilt swords on the plane when flying to that week-long workshop?
Annoyed that you have no swords to warm-up with before that championship that's far from home?
This wee bag, which is available in a variety of colors, contains a regular length practice sword.
Inspired by their love of Legos, slap bracelets from the 80’s, and Hermione’s magical purse, Sarah, Shari and Hannah designed these affordable, packable practice swords so that you can easily travel with your sword to dance competitions and workshops far and wide. Keep your heavy basket-hilts at home for practice in your studio and use these when you're out and about in a kilt!
While these Travel Sword Roll-Ups can be rolled for storage or for travel, this sword won’t ever roll-up on you while you are dancing over it. It takes just a minute to assemble and dissemble them before and after your practice, and they're light and easy to pack in your dance duffel or carry-on luggage.
We have traveled through domestic airport security with these travel swords, without any problems in carry-on luggage. We do recommend that you pack the hilts themselves flat in an outside pocket of your suitcase so that they aren’t crushed by any other heavy objects or jig shoes. Once you have arrived at your destination, you can put the hilts back in the wee bag.
How much do they cost?
*$5 of the price for each set will go to support the USIR 2020 when it will be held in Denver, Colorado!
