I am an Assistant Professor at The Faculty of Economics and Business at University of Groningen. Previously, I have joined the  Center for Economic History at Northwestern University, the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Università Bocconi and the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics at Yale University. 

My main research fields are Political Economics and Economic History. I am also interested in Applied Microeconomics.
