I am a senior assistant professor (RTDB) at the Department of Economics of the University of Bergamo and Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in the Programme of Economic History and the Programme of Political Economy. Previously, I have joined the EEF at the University of Groningen, the Center for Economic History at Northwestern University, the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Università Bocconi and the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics at Yale University.
My main research fields are Political Economics and Economic History. I am also interested in Applied Microeconomics.
