About me
I joined the Physics Department of the University of Pavia (Italy) in 2023.
Before that, I was at UCL Computer Science (with a joint appointment at the Systemic Risk Centre of the London School of Economics, LSE) for 9 years. I am still affiliated to UCL with an honorary appointment.
In 2016 I was awarded an Early Career Fellowship (2016-2020) of the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
I graduated in Physics at the University of Pavia (Italy), where I also obtained a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics in 2012 within a joint programme with the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland). After that, I joined the Condensed Matter & Statistical Physics Group of the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste (Italy) as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
