George Giakkoupis

I am an INRIA Researcher at the WIDE team at IRISA/INRIA Rennes, in France. Previous to that I was a PIMS Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Calgary, in Canada, working with Philipp Woelfel, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Paris Diderot University, working with Pierre Fraigniaud. I received my PhD from the University of Toronto, under the supervision of Vassos Hadzilacos.

I am interested in the design and analysis of algorithms, with emphasis on distributed algorithms and randomization.
