Safe Paths to School

Park clean-ups and adopt-a-parks have been started in the Liguan area. The next clean-up is June 28th, 2013.

Cancer Prevention curriculum

We partnered with Strides of the Cure to offer the "Cancer Education Outreach Program" & sports days in elementary schools. The classroom Cure4Kids curriculum was developed by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Most of the resources are on their website and curriculum is offered for many age groups.

Disc Golf

Clinics were offered May 24-27 from the Disc Golf expert Nate Van Ee. Clinics were held at 2 schools and at the grounds of the Hilton Guam Resort and Spa. The purpose was to introduce the sport of disc golf as a new sport for Guam and a good way to show movement in the parks so parks can be kept secure for the purpose of family enjoyment.
