About me:
I am currently an A*MIDEX Rising Stars Chair Fellow at the the Laboratoire Parole et Langage (CNRS, Aix-Marseille Université) in Aix-en-Provence, France. Since receiving my PhD from Northwestern University in 2008, I have also been a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratoire Parole et Langage (2008-2010) and an assistant professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (2010-2014).

Some of my research interests include:
  • Semantics and pragmatics of spoken language (discourse and social interaction)
  • Intonation (prosody-meaning interface)
  • Role of social information in linguistic representation
  • Formal models of situated linguistic communication
  • Dialect contact and dialect acquisition
