I am Associate Professor at the Department of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business of the University of Murcia (UMU). Previously, I was member of the Department of Applied Economics of UMU (2022), Associate Professor in the Catholic University of Murcia (2016–2022), Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Statistics of the University Carlos III of Madrid (2015–2016) and I obtained my PhD at University of Alicante (2015).

My fields of interest are Econometrics, Time Series, Forecasting, Macroeconomics, Monetary Policy, Structural Change and Business Cycles. In particular, my work is mainly focused on the applications of dimension reduction techniques on structural analysis and forecasting. You may find more about my research here.
