Gerhard Toews

I am Associate Professor (without tenure) at the New Economic School and I am an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Stavanger. I am also research affiliate at the Oxford Center of the Anlaysis of Resource Rich Economies, University of Oxford, where I defended my DPhil.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am an applied economist working primarily on topics related to dirty energy—oil, gas, and coal. My research therefore connects natural resource economics with labor economics, trade, political economy, environmental economics, economic growth, and economic history.
