A Bit about Professor George Kikuchi:
I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminology, California State University, Fresno. I received my Ph.D. in Sociology from Purdue University, IN, in May 2008. I am a certified crime and intelligence analyst from the California Department of Justice and worked as a crime analyst intern at several law enforcement agencies in the U.S. Additionally, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the National Research Institute of Police Science, Japan, which is affiliated with the National Police Agency of Japan (roughly equivalent to the F.B.I. in the U.S.). My current research interests include crime mapping, spatio-temporal analyses of crime, data visualization, and data mining in crime analysis.
