Minimal surfaces can be formed by bubble solution and wire frame models.Â
Some of my bubble geometry and bubble art models. These transformable wire frame models allow for the transformation of the minimal surfaces that form in inside the models when they are dipped in bubble solution.
TRANSFORMABLE HYPERCUBE MINIMAL SURFACE MODEL
The hypercube model can be used to teach higher dimensional thinking. This particular model is intended to show some of the complex minimal surfaces inside the boundaries of the hypercube, by immersing in bubble solution, and then transforming it. The transforming soap film surfaces help add to the impression of hyper-dimensionality, in my opinion.
