CLICK starring Adam Sandler, Kate Bosworth directed by Frank Coraci
This weeks review is Click directed by Frank Coraci and starring Adam Sandler, Kate Bostworth. This film is about a guy who is always busy at work and never has time for family and friends. He has trouble with everything in his life, including using his many remote controls. He goes out to purchase a remote control at Bed Bath and Beyond by a mysterious sales person played by Christopher Walken. Little does he know that the remote control is not only a universal remote but actually a remote that controls his life. He can pause, he can fast forward, he can rewind his whole life. So instead of going through his daily grind he decides to fast forward all of the "negative" or "boring" stuff in his life. Except that the remote goes onto automatic pilot and ends up fast forwarding everything he has fast forwarded before. He sees his life past by him and misses out on his kids growing up and saying goodbye to his father who is played by Henry Winkler. This film is similar to It's a wonderful like but more modern day. The film is a bit scattered but has some sentimental parts and is a nice change from Adam Sandler's usual antics. I give this film a 2 star out of 4.
