I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
My research focuses on the key mechanisms driving the evolution of galaxies and supermassive black holes (SMBHs) in the first 3 billion years of the universe leveraging multiple large spectroscopic and imaging surveys. In each of these surveys, I have assumed critical data leadership roles. I am also interested in developing course-based undergraduate research experience.
I obtained my PhD at UC San Diego working with my advisor Alison Coil. Before moving to MIT, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin working with Steve Finkelstein. At MIT, I work with Anna-Christina Eilers on the evolution of supermassive black holes in the early universe.
