About Us

G-Ball is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by volunteers serving youth in Santa Cruz, California.

The purpose of our League is to develop, promote and administer the game of basketball among girls grades 3 through 9. 

Our mission is:

To support the positive benefits attained through the sport of basketball by emphasizing sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, and competition.

G-Ball is operated by an all-volunteer staff consisting of parents and community members who give freely of their time to instruct and develop excellence in basketball skills. We want to better our community by empowering girls through healthy physical activity and positive team play.

Our objectives are to create the opportunity for fair and enjoyable play, to promote good sportsmanship, and to exhibit the qualities of self-control and enthusiasm as well as to foster improvement of skills and knowledge of the game.

G-Ball encourages anyone interested in the good of the game to participate. Please join us!
