Research interests: geometric topology, nonpositively curved geometry, and group theory

To get an idea of where geometric topology has been and where it might be headed, one could do worse than looking at Weinberger's essay ''Variations on a theme of Borel''.

In the winter of 2018-2019 I taught a course on nonpositively curved manifolds. 

In December 2021 I taught a minicourse relating L^2-invariants, homology growth, reflection groups and embedding theory (Boards of lectures 1, 2, and 3.)

Currently, I am teaching a course on the topology of 2-complexes.
