Gary Choi is a Vice-Chancellor Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He completed his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University in 2020 under the direction of L. Mahadevan and Chris Rycroft. From 2020-2023, e he worked as an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow and Instructor in Applied Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
His research interests include applied and computational geometry, interdisciplinary mathematical modeling, quantitative biology, medical imaging, metamaterial design, geometry processing, and scientific computing.
