About me:
I am a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Loughborough University.
My research interests are in the areas of competition economics and competition policy. My work commonly uses advanced theoretical techniques to model the incentives of firms and consumers in imperfectly competitive markets, with the aims of explaining real-world market outcomes and improving competition policy to regulate firms' behaviour and promote consumer welfare.
I received The International Journal of Industrial Organization Best Theoretical Paper Award 2019 for my work on explicit vs tacit collusion.
My book on hub-and-spoke cartels is available from here.
I am an Associate Editor for the International Journal of the Economics of Business.
I also have over 5 years' experience of providing economic consultancy services through my position as an Associate at Economic Insight.
