I’m a Senior Economist at the American Institutes for Research (AIR). I study policies and programs focusing on livelihoods, education, and women's economic empowerment. My current work includes research on community engagement around gender norms in Democratic Republic of the Congo; impacts of COVID-19 on women's economic groups in India, Nigeria, and Uganda; development of measurement tools for norms influencing women's economic participation in South Asia; and evaluation of a technology aided education program in Zambia. My past research focused on evaluating employment programs and policies for vulnerable populations in the United States.

I am currently based in AIR's Austin office, though my pre-pandemic life was split between Austin, Delhi, and Washington, D.C.
