Personal life

Since my childhood, I have been trained in Indian vocal classical and today music along with Rabindranath Tagore songs and fusion in music have entered into my blood. "Gitanjali" - poem collections (song offerings) by Rabindranath Tagore (for which he received the Nobel prize) is another inspiration in all the phases of life. Traveling and trekking are other passions to spend some of my leisure hours with the mountains, valleys, green forests, blue sky, wavy rivers...

Sometimes, feelings and innovation are manifested through pastel drawing and cooking! And last but not the least, I am available to Kriya yoga (https://www.kriyayogalahiri.com/) and some of the resting time are drenched with ancient Indian wisdom through yoga and meditation since past 21 years!

One of my favorite poems from the "Gitanjali"-

“When I leave from hence, let this be my parting word, that what I have seen is unsurpassable.

I have tasted of the hidden honey of this lotus that expands on the ocean of light, and thus I am blessed—let this be my parting word.

In this playhouse of infinite forms I have had my play and here have I caught sight of him who is formless.

My whole body and my limbs have thrilled with his touch who is beyond touch; and if the end comes here, let it come—let this be my parting word.”- Rabindranath Tagore

My song performed at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur on Research scholar day -
