  • This course is designed to give the student resources to help with their French and Spanish vocabulary to help them remember what they have learned throughout the year. Using Quizlet the students will be able to work on the basic vocabulary and terms. The students will need a Quizlet account to do this.

Math Enrichment - Entering Fundamentals of Algebra (6H / 7R)

• DESCRIPTION

  • This course is designed as an eight-week independent review of basic math skills that will prepare the students for their next math course - Fundamentals of Algebra. It will review the properties of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as well as algebra and number theories. A comprehensive review of fractions and decimals will also occur. The eight weeks will be divided into four 2 week sections. Each student is assigned work from the Sadlier-Oxford website and simple review quizzes from Quiz Star. These quizzes are taken from the 6th-grade book and should be used to help jog the brain. The students have the flexibility to complete this work on their own time scale, although it is suggested that they spread the work out throughout the summer. General Science

• DESCRIPTION

  • This course is designed as an eight-week independent review of basic science skills and math skills that will prepare the students for their next science course - General Science. The eight weeks will be divided into four 2 week sections. The students have a choice of different activities to complete. These activities are chosen to help keep the students’ minds refreshed with the science material that they had the year before and prepare them for next years science class. The students have the flexibility to complete this work on their own time scale, although it is suggested that they spread the work out throughout the summer.
