Google Tools for Schools is happy to announce a new course option for their Summer Institute, Designing for Digital Age Learning to be held at the St. Johnsbury School June 25th to July 1st.
Educators in this course will develop and understanding of what it means to be a digital age educator, and learn how to design digital age learning experiences, activities and assessments. Participants are encouraged to attend with a partner or team, and work collaboratively to design digital age lessons or units that follow the principles of Backward Design and align with Common Core State Standards. They will use the Google Apps for Education tools and Chromebooks as a platform for digital age teaching and learning. Prior experience with the Google Apps for Education tools is required, as this course will focus on designing digital age learning activities, experiences and assessments using the Google tools. It is not a skills course on learning the Google tools. Lead by Google Tools and Learning Specialists:
