The course comprises of six units:

• Dynamics
• Space
• Waves
• Radiation
• Electricity
• Properties of Matter

The course is assessed with:

• regular homework exercises
• a unit test after each topic
• an externally marked assignment.
• a prelim exam in January
• a final SQA exam in May
