Gabriel Ehrlich

I am the Director of the Research Seminar in Quantitative Economics (RSQE) at the University of Michigan.

RSQE is an economic forecasting and modeling group that has been in operation at the University's Economics Department since 1952. We are therefore the world's longest-running continuously operating economic forecasting group. We produce four forecasts per year of the U.S. and Michigan economies and annual forecasts of some Michigan economies. We also produce complementary economic and fiscal impact analyses; recent and ongoing projects include an assessment of the Economic Effects of Medicaid Expansion in Michigan; assessments of Michigan's Transformational Brownfield Plans; and an assessment of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

My personal research interests include macroeconomics, urban and regional economics, and forecasting. My personal research page is here, and my CV is here.
