To start a merit badge you first need to get a merit badge application signed in advance by Mr. Wells. See Mr. Wells to get a Merit Badge application. (The famous "Blue Card")
Who are Merit Badge counselors in the Troop?
To find out, talk to the Advancements Chair or Scoutmaster at a Scout meeting.
Get at least one buddy who wants to take the badge with you.
Set up meeting times with the merit badge counselor. (A parent/guardian may need to be present at merit badge sessions.)
