EDUC 513 & 590 [this master’s capstone experience begins in 513 (Fall semester) and continues in 590 (Spring semester) as sequential courses] Oral Proposal Presentations (November 2015) are presented as a Charrette process to TEELP Committee Members.
The Charrette process provides a way to have a conversation about proposals at this stopping point, work-in-progress stage with committee members, so practitioners may glean insight and feedback and have time to refine proposals before implementing them in their respective classrooms during Spring semester. LLSS 315 (Fall 2015) As in most courses, I do not ask of students to do anything I would not do myself. Therefore I complete midterm and final reflections to share with them. This diversity course is critical in discussing and reflecting about the complexities of biases, stereotypes, dominant privilege, culture of school as teachers.
