Syllabus
Grounded theory (GT) is a qualitative research methodology aimed at theoretical development through systematic gathering and analysis of textual data.
This seminar is based on the books and papers listed in the reference list and it is structured in two parts.
Part 1 (Introduction) will discuss the nature and the foundation of GT, and the basic pillars for its actual use.
Part 2 (Seminar Prof. Ghiringhelli, Case studies) will analyze exemplar studies based on GT, with the aim to show how to apply the method from data collection to theory development.
