Elastic Covered Yarn

• Single Covered Yarn (SCY)

Single Covered Yarn means an elastic yarn (like Spendex or Lacra^®) fully wrapped by one fiber. There are two wrapping grades, one called S-twist (clockwise), another called Z-twist (anti-clockwise). Whether S-twist or Z-twist, it depends on your applications and needs.

• Double Covered Yarn (DCY)

Double Covered Yarn means an elastic yarn (like Spendex or Lacra^® ) fully wrapped by two fibers. The yarns with different denier and TPM (turn per meter) will make your fabric has different hand feelings.
