Introduction
Functional money skills are invaluable for intellectually disabled students. If a student can master basic money skills, then the student obtains a daily living skill that provides him/her more independence as he/she transitions into adulthood. These skills are most often successfully taught through repetition and strong visual reinforcement of recognition of money and its associated numeric value. This site is meant to be a starting point in learning this valuable life skill for students and is also intended as a resource for their parents.
